A wide range of activities play an important and stimulating role in the life of the Junior and Infant School and add to the children's all round education. Our activities give pupils the opportunity to try new experiences and the chance to discover what hobbies they might enjoy and want to pursue, giving them additional variety in their education.
Each term a wide ranging co-curricular programme is organised. The children are informed of the activities on offer at the start of each term and parents receive a letter which allows them to enrol their children in the clubs of their choice. Clubs run by Kirkham Grammar Junior and Infant School staff are free, whereas for those run by external agencies, there is a charge.
The list below provides a sample of the clubs offered throughout the year.

The Junior School also believes in the value of competitive sport and a fixture list appropriate to the term and the time of year ensures that a wide variety of pupils in J2, J3 and J4 can represent their school in competitive sport. Regular fixtures are organised with local schools.
