Hockey
U11 boys A and B Hockey teams played Cheadle Hulme School at Preston Sports Arena on Saturday 13th October.
The A team played some excellent hockey and we’re unfortunate to only be 1-0 up at half time as they had created numerous chances but were unable to convert. In the second half they began to pass the ball better which allowed greater space to shoot and the result was a 6-0 win at the final whistle.
The B team had an excellent start and were 2-0 up after 10 minutes but then relaxed and Cheadle fought back for a well-deserved draw with 2-2 the final score.
Girls’ U11 A & B Hockey teams also played Cheadle Hulme. The A team lost 1-0 and the B team drew 2-2.
Football
Our Junior School U11s played football last night v Harry Case Select. An excellent game of football played in a good spirit and ideal preparation for the North Lancashire AJIS Tournament on Wednesday.
