A busy half term holiday for 'Karate Kid', Jessica

There has been no rest for Kirkham Grammar School First Year pupil, Jessica Jennings, over the October half term holidays. The first week saw Jessica travel to Odense, Denmark to the 11th WUKF European Karate Championships where she became a European Silver Medallist Champion in her category.

A week later, Jessica attended the GB Open Kata Championships in Walsall, where she gained the following;
Gold in 10-12yrs Kata
Gold in 13-14yrs Kata
Bronze in 10-12yrs Kumite
Gold Grand Champion in 10-12yrs Kata
Gold Grand Champion in 13-14yrs Kata
Silver Grand Champion in 10-12yrs Kumite
