During their Spanish lesson with Mr Gonzalez just before the half term break, our 1X pupils were asked to create their own 'Día de Muertos' masks. El Día de Muertos (The Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday which takes place over the first two days of November and is celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. Congratulations to Lucy who won Mr Gonzalez' 'Dia de Muertos' prize!
In the video below, Mr Gonzalez explains how Mexicans celebrate this amazing tradition.
