This term in History, our J1 pupils have been learning about the Romans and their invasion and settlement of Britain. They learned about the Roman way of life, their army and also about the people of Britain that they conquered including Queen Boudicca. As they approached the end of the topic, they decided to have a virtual Roman day, an event that we would normally have in school. They all got dressed up as Romans and in their afternoon History lesson had a virtual Roman feast where they ate the sort of food the Romans might have eaten and entertained each other.
