Today, to celebrate our Junior, Infant and Pre-School pupils many successes this year, they were treated to a Beach Party! Yes…the beach came to Kirkham Grammar School, 'sand and all'! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too kind to us and we experienced a true British Beach Day! As the finer details of the day had remained a surprise for the pupils, they didn't let the weather dampen their spirits and it was absolutely wonderful to see their faces enjoying a fun-filled day which included: a BBQ, disco, donkey rides, helter-skelter, and a visit from an ice-cream van to name just a few! They even enjoyed a game of beach volleyball with Mr Oddie. A fantastic day was had by both pupils and staff and it really was a lovely way of concluding, what has been, a very different academic year for all.
