On Thursday evening, our Kirkham Grammar School Upper School Speech Day was held in the Summerlee Hall which saw pupils, parents and staff gather together for one of the highlights of the academic year.
The evening began with our school hymn before a few words from our Chair of Governors, Mrs Lorraine Wareing.
Mr Berry followed with his Headmaster's Report before the audience were entertained with a musical interlude from talented Lower Sixth pupil, Siôned Jones-Blanco.
Miss Abigail Longley, Leader in Sixth Form Settings and current member of the KGS Board of Governors, delivered an inspiring address before presenting this year's prizes and trophies. School Captains, Ethan Woodcock and Amy Merrick, gave a vote of thanks before the evening ended with The National Anthem.
Afterwards parents, pupils and staff enjoyed refreshments in the Recital Hall. Thank you to all of the parents and members of our wider school family who came along to join in celebrating our pupils' achievements!
