NSPCC NUMBER DAY 2023
We are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in a whole school Number Day on Friday 3 February 2023.
Our Kirkham Grammar School Junior, Infant and Pre-School pupils will be able to attend school wearing their school uniform and an item of clothing which has a number/numbers on.
The Senior School and Sixth Form are inviting pupils to take part in a ‘number hunt’ in which members of staff will be wearing number badges for pupils to find throughout the day.
In class, the pupils we will also be doing activities related to the day, and also raising awareness of the work of the NSPCC.
‘Number Day’ is a great way to make mathematics fun and bring about a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards it.
We kindly ask that in return, a donation of your choice is made using the JustGiving link below. All the money we raise will make an enormous difference to children today, and help the NSPCC be there for children tomorrow. The NSPCC need our support more than ever. By raising money, we can help to fund their vital services such as Childline – the helpline that is always there for children and young people whatever their problem or concern. On average, a child contacts Childline every 25 seconds.
