Thank you to all of our Kirkham Grammar School pupils and their families for their kind and generous donations for Fylde Foodbank, Streetlife and Fresh Food 4 Working Families CIC 15243322.
On Tuesday morning, our donations were delivered by Mrs Shuttleworth and our Sixth Form Pupil Voice Leaders and these were gratefully received and appreciated at both locations. In total, 125.2kg of food in 17 bags was delivered to Fylde Foodbank and another 18 bags to StreetLife in Blackpool.
Each member of staff from our KGS Catering team also bought and wrapped a child’s gift for unwrapping on Christmas Day for Fresh Food 4 Working Families CIC 15243322. In addition to this, our Boarding House pupils and staff also delivered a fantastic selection of food. Well done to you all for taking the time to care for others and arrange such thoughtful donations.
Kirkham Grammar Junior, Infant and Pre-School pupil, Alexander, recently walked from Fleetwood Ferry to Starr Gate, a total distance of 13 miles, and raised £800 for food and toys which were donated to the Amazing Graze Foodbank in Blackpool. Well done, Alexander!
