U11 & U10 Rugby v AKS
On Wednesday 21 February, the U10 and U11 boys travelled to AKS for two great matches of Rugby. Both games were played in good spirits with Kirkham producing two pleasing wins. Thank you to AKS for being excellent hosts and to all the parents who came along to support.
U11 A and B Boys Hockey v Sedbergh
On Thursday 22 February, the U11A and B Boys Hockey teams travelled to Sedbergh to play two matches which featured every boy in the year. There were two good wins for Kirkham and we would like to thank Sedbergh for being fantastic hosts.
U9 A & B Boys Football v Ashbridge
On Friday 23 February, the U9s travelled to Ashbridge School for an afternoon of football. The A team played four games; winning three and drawing one and the B team played four and won one. Every boy in the year played and we would like to thank Ashbridge for being super hosts!
Over the three consecutive days, KGJS played Rugby, Football and Hockey across three age groups!

AJIS Hockey Champions!
KGJS U11 Boys are AJIS Hockey Champions (joint winners with Kings School Chester).
The results from the competition were as follows:
v Newcastle won 2-0
v Bolton won 4-0
v Kings Chester B team won 2-0
Semi-Final
v Rossall won 4-0
Final
v Kings Chester drew 0-0
The U11B Team also took part and played very well, but unfortunately lost 1-0 in the semi-final of the plate to the eventual winners.
