In the summer of 2023, Sophia Crawshay (KGS 2011-2013) received her first international cap for Wales. Sophia played against Uruguay and Chile (in Uruguay) – congratulations, Sophia, and well done on your international hockey debut!
It is always a delight to hear from our former students, so when Sophia contacted us with an update on her hockey career, it was extra special to make the connection with one of our current students, Anya Jackson, who is also doing rather well with her hockey, (currently England U18 hockey squad). Sophia and Anya play hockey together for Bowdon Hockey Club 1st team in the England Hockey Premier League.
